Buttercup Cattery is situated in a tranquil, rural, yet accessible location in stunning South Warwickshire countryside. Surrounded by fields and woodland full of wildlife, Buttercup Cattery provides a safe and serene environment for your cat.
Buttercup Cattery is owned and professionally run by Nicola and David Bartlett. Nicola, having worked as a veterinary nurse in a mixed practice for many years, will ensure your cat receives the optimum amount of care and attention needed for their physical and mental well-being. Here at Buttercup Cattery, we are passionate about providing a service which gives our clients complete peace of mind. We understand it can be difficult leaving a treasured pet even for a few days, and so we encourage new clients to come and meet us, look around and discuss their cat's specific needs.
Buttercup Cattery is built to F.A.B. (Feline Advisory Bureau) standards. This ensures your cat has some of the very best accommodation available. Every chalet has been designed and built with your cat's best interests in mind. We can accommodate cats of any age or temperament.
Every chalet can be adapted for your cat's stay.
All beds, blankets, scratch posts and toys will be provided. However, if you wish to bring your cat's own bedding with you for familiarity, can you please ensure it is washed, in good order and sprayed with a veterinary household flea product approximately one week before their stay with us.
As routine, meals are provided twice daily. For kittens, the elderly or cats on medical advice, we will feed per your instructions.
We stock a wide variety of wet and dry foods.
Any prescription diet food or specialist food to be provided by yourselves.
All cats will need an up to date vaccination certificate for cat flu and feline enteritis. Any medication (including insulin), prescribed for your cat and provided by you, is given at no extra charge. Any ongoing treatment requiring a visit to a veterinary surgery will be provided at a charge.
Prior to arrival, please ensure that your cat is treated for worms and fleas. We recommend using medication purchased from your veterinary surgery, as this will be the correct strength - and will do the job properly.

"Nicola and David look after their feline guests as if they were their own. The accommodation is scrupulously clean and, over the years, both my very elderly British Shorthair and my young Selkirk Rex have returned home happy having enjoyed a holiday of their own. Cannot recommend more highly."Penny, Little Kineton
